Watch out for swatches and reviews of the rest of the MAC Fabulous Felines collection. The Shades Of U Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars The colors in each quad are complementary with each other so you get to create a myriad of different looks. If you are into deep berries and mauves, choose Palace Pedigreed. If you like sable, olives, greens, get Burmese Beauty. If you are into warm colors, get Leopard Luxe. I can't really recommend one particular quad, it really depends on what colors you like to wear. The quads are pretty but are dupeable, but the convenience of the quad and the appeal of the colors sucked me into getting them. If you like greens and golds, though, you will like this quad.Īll in all, I was drawn more to Leopard Luxe and Palace Pedigreed quads compared to Burmese Beauty, not because BB is crap, but because I already have a lot of dupes for those particular shades. Showstopper is a deep blackened brown that is also not that unique, so I skipped this quad. Burmese Beauty is a frosted brown green that reminds me a lot of Club, so that's not a unique shadow as well. Skintone 2 is a frosty dirty gold that I don't really care much for because I believe I have a lot of dupes for this, especially if I look at my Aromaleigh loose shadows. Love this as either a lid or highlight color. I don't know why but I am drawn to shades like Prized, a pale yellow beige that is almost exactly my skintone as it literally disappeared into my skin. Top Row: Prized, Burmese Beauty, Skintone 2, Showstopper (all from Burmese Beauty quad), Antique Green pigment, Gold Stroke pigmentīurmese Beauty is all about sable, champagne and teak-olive shades. I like the matte formula for greys and neutral blues. Russian Blue is a deep neutral matte grey. I love this color as I haven't seen MAC come up with something like this in a while. Palace Pedigreed is a deep berry with soft pink pearl in the satin formula. Quite Spoiled would also work as a lid or crease color a midtone neutral mauve that would work great with pinks and purples. I love these kinds of neutrals, a frosty muted light pink beige that can also work with browns and taupes. The first thing that caught my eye was Courtly. L-R: Courtly, Palace Pedigreed, Quite Spoiled, Russian Blue This si great to line the eyes or as a crease or outer V color, and of course perfect for smokey eyes. It's not as pigmented as other MAC eyeshadows I've tried, but it can lend a nice soft contour to your crease or outer lids.įuriously Fabulous is a frosted warm black that operates more like a soft brown-black to my eyes. Notoriety is a dirty brown with gold pearl (velvet) which is a repromote from the MAC Makeup Art Cosmetics Fall '09 collection: It worked really well over my Coral Crepe paint pot. Style Predator is my favorite, a frosted mid-tone yellow orange in the Veluxe Pearl formula. Wild By Nature is a matte mid-tone camel that would work great as a lid or crease color, depending on your skintone. It holds pretty versatile colors that can work with a lot of different looks.

Leopard Luxe is one of the favorite quads from this collection, if not the most-coveted.
